The children and youth we serve in North Siargao need hope for their future — and healing for hearts impacted by hardship, trauma, and neglect.
Hope for the Island, Inc. is a faith-based organization serving Siargao Island since 2000 (registered in 2001). Kalinga House is one of our ministries, alongside other community programs that support children, families, and local communities.

Is the Lord stirring your heart to learn more about missions and serving the poor? There are many ways to be part of our ministry here at Hope for the Island.
If you're staying on Siargao and would like to volunteer at Hope for the Island, we'd love your help! We always have tasks that need extra hands, including general maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and small building projects.
On Saturdays, we take teams to various communities in Burgos to lead our Kids Ministry. Each session lasts 90 minutes and includes Bible lessons, songs, crafts, games, and a nutritious meal for the children.
You can support this ministry by helping to cover the cost of the meal for that day. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to take part in the program and assist in serving the meal. The cost to supply the food is 5000 PHP.
We welcome individuals, families, and groups who want to be part of our ministry. During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to participate in our regular outreach programs for children, youth, and widows. You and your team can also partner with us to put on a special event like a sports camp.
